BioPrint – Scientific Approach to Fat Loss and Spot Reduction.
Here’s how BioPrint Modulation works. There are 14 major body fat sites that can be quickly and accurately tested by a pair of quality skin calipers and a qualified BPC technician. Measurements from each site are entered into BPC BioPrint software and then data is compared to the triceps reading and this identifies which areas of the body have excessive levels of fat and hormonal issues relative to the other 13 body fat sites.
Once the BioPrint sites are analyzed and we determine the cause of the fat, the next step is to make appropriate modifications to your diet, supplement, and exercise prescription to resolve the problem. Mary came into BPC to have her BioPrint done. She exercises on a regular basis which consists of three spin classes per week and two weight training classes with light weights. Hormone Issue: Estrogen
There are many things we would have to change to Mary’s exercise and nutritional plan, below are just a few examples
1) Spinning is great, but those with lower-body fat issues spinning will likely do more harm than good. Spinning will increase the storage of intramuscular and subcutaneous fat in the hip and thigh areas to provide a more readily available source of fuel for the muscles. Instead, a weight training protocol of high time under tension of 60-90 seconds and short rest intervals (about 30 seconds between sets) along with an intense interval protocol would be a much more effective choice as it would produce a lot of lactic acid to increase growth hormone and lower estrogen.
2) Eliminate soy products from her diet as they cause too many issues with estrogens, not to mention they are one of the three worst foods you can eat. Incorporate a lot of cruciferous vegetables into your diet as they lower estrogen, but only estrogen 4 and 16, the bad ones – not estrogen 2 (which is so good, for memory, etc). Increase healthy fats and adequate levels of high quality proteins.
3) Incorporate a nutritional supplement program that would naturally lower estrogen with such products as grape seed extract, Meriva, estrogen detox packs, etc.
This is just a brief example of BioPrint at work. The fact is, we all come in different shapes and sizes.
